International Paper is currently seeking applicants for the position of

Electrical &amp; Instrument (E&amp;I) Technician at the Hueneme Paper Mill in

Oxnard, CA. Individual must have professional experience as a

journeyman level instrument technician and/or electrician. This is an

hourly position governed by the applicable collective bargaining

agreement.



RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Perform maintenance duties to troubleshoot and repair defective

equipment in a timely manner.

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties and

generates work requests to repair defective equipment.

• Respond to assigned work orders and inputs into SAP the work

performed on the equipment specified in the work order.

• Work closely with all team members to ensure that work is done in

a safe manner.

• Works with process and project engineers as necessary to install

new equipment and modify existing equipment.

• Assist other team members in the mill as necessary to minimize

downtime and maintain quality

federal laws/regulations.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.

The Project Manager is a part of a team responsible for working with our

System (CIA) is a Microsoft access program designed to generate small

audits of individual SPI’s. Tracking Incidents &amp; Credits System (TICS)

Complaint Tracking facilitates the tracking of customer issues and

routes communication for returns, allowances and DPPM Champion of the

“Lean” tools like Kaizen, 5S and Converting setup reduction Integrally

involved in waste reduction, prepares the plant for AIB audits,

occasional customer visits, new employee training, corrugators/

converting recipe cards, customer audits and critical new accounts.



QUALIFICATIONS:

The Maintenance/Engineering Manager is responsible for both engineering

&amp; maintenance activates of the plant and is accountable for overall

direction, coordination, training of 3 salaried personnel and 30-35

maintenance personnel in a 24 hour operation.

The successful candidate will develop department training programs and

maintenance systems, identify opportunities to increase productivity &amp;

reduce manufacturing cost.



Requirements:



* Engineering Degree preferred (ME, IE or EE) and 4+ yrs supervisory

experience in a manufacturing environment.

* Must have experience with electrical and mechanical processes and

systems.

* Excellent planning and organizational skills with a high degree of

initiative &amp; flexibility a must.

* Requires excellent problem solving &amp; analytical skills. Proven

ability to define performance &amp; training measures &amp; hold others

accountable for the same.

* Working knowledge of OSHA, AIB, ASI, EPA, MSDS, HACCP &amp; GMPs.

* Proficient in Excel, Word, Auto-Cad. Exposure to power point &amp;

Access. Reports to the Assistant Plant Mgr.

• Manages the replenishment of assigned products within a collection of

assigned suppliers with a goal of maximizing the performance of the

inventory as measured by turn and earn, DIOH, and fill rate.

• Manage assigned inventory to maximize performance (from both a turn

and service level perspective) and minimize obsolescence. Includes:

- Replenishment planning: demand forecasting, lead time

forecasting, order frequency analysis, service level analysis

- Inventory performance review through data analysis using

procurement data warehouses and other tools

• Analyze inventory needs and place purchase orders accordingly for

general and customer dedicated stock

• Generate Stock PO's, mill indirect and may generate direct POs as well

as mill returns as assigned

• Maintain item costs

• Process mill credits

• Resolve PO and mill invoice discrepancies

• Expedite inbound stock from suppliers

• Follow up with warehouses and suppliers on receiving issues. Executes

tactical buy-ins.

• React to and resolve vendor invoice exceptions in a timely fashion.
