Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Corporate Accounts segment sales and account

management activities focused on driving GP and market growth share with

existing and potential national customers.

• Develop and manage the implementation of key account plans for

national customers in collaboration with National Director – Corporate

Accounts and Group Sales Director roles.

• Responsible for generating and developing new customer

opportunities with a focus on targeting, qualifying and prospecting

Fortune 1,000 potential customers.

• Proactively manage to a 12-18 month sales cycle by creating a

steady level of prospects for the customer pipeline as well as creating

and implementing strategic plans that assist in expediting the sales

cycle.

• Own an active list of targeted customers and respond to new,

national business opportunities through the development of timely,

accurate and focused RFPs as well as strategic relationship building

techniques.

• Collaborate with Solutions Center to develop Corporate Accounts

business presentations and provide marketing tools and analysis to

positively grow business opportunities with current and potential

customers.

• Responsible for developing and strengthening business

relationships with headquarters/decision makers for Corporate Accounts

customers.

• Analyze market and customer accounts to assist in the

development of Corporate Accounts national business strategy, focused

sales and sales support efforts.

• Actively participate in key national customer reviews and

maintain a strategic business relationship with key customers to

identify and gain growth in account share.

• In collaboration with national procurement and sourcing

organizations, ensure effective execution of and alignment with national

procurement strategy and segment suppliers to support Corporate Accounts

business customers and opportunities.

• Understand and effectively articulate the value proposition

offered by xpedx in support of Corporate Accounts customers, their

business opportunities and market needs.

• Maintain a proficient to expert level of competency and

experience in utilizing xpedx sales tools and aligning sales process and

activities with the xpedx value proposition.

• Investigate all customer claims promptly; coordinate

appropriate resolution with all involved parties.

• Develop and maintain an in-depth level of understanding and

awareness of the Corporate Accounts business segment, marketplace

opportunities, challenges and threats, and be able to anticipate changes

as well as offer solutions to differentiate the xpedx value proposition

with customers.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of the strengths and opportunities

of national competitors and provide strategies and solutions to continue

to place xpedx in a preferred position with Corporate Accounts

customers.

• Position will require approximately 30-40% travel to customers

and xpedx locations across the organization.



Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent work experience required.

• Minimum 5-7 years successful national sales experience and 3-5

years successful general sales experience, preferably within a large,

national or decentralized distribution organization required.

• Proficient PC skills required.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and

adapt to sudden changes in the work environment essential.

• Demonstrated strong organization, planning, communication,

diplomacy and presentation skills required.

• Pull, pack, stage, or convert orders for shipment using computer

generated work order or verbal instruction from supervisor.

• Package material for shipment according to shipping requirements

and/or customer specified instruction. Ensure that all product/shipping

labels are legible.

• Load or unload trucks making sure that: truck is chocked or otherwise

secured before attempting to unload and load the product; truck bed is

clear of debris, obstruction, or defect for safe entry/exit; incoming

product is free from damage and coincides with packing list or Return

Authorization; and freight is properly positioned and secured in truck.

• Using locator system put away product that has been received.

• Assist customers who arrive at dock to pick up or return merchandise.

- Regarding Returns:

- Must have approved Return Authorization (RA) before accepting

product as return.

- Verify product returned matches description on approved RA.

- Call warehouse office for assistance if customer has return

but no approved RA.

• Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records LEGIBLY.

• Use computer equipment to generate labels, check stock, input data for

shipping status, prepare UPS shipments, create shipping manifest, etc.

• Immediately report safety hazards with equipment or within facility.

• Use required Personal Protective Equipment; back suppport/lift belts

when lifting product; harness &amp; tether when operating order picker;

safety glasses when working with strapping, drill press; gloves when

handling coils of steel strapping and large drums; face &amp; neck shield,

rubber gloves, rubber apron when working with batteries; all required

PPE when responsible for spill cleanup; and safety shoes at all times.

Must meet ANSI Z75 standard.

• Anticipate and prevent accidents.

• Report ALL incidents, accidents, and personal injuries to supervisor.

Over the Road Driver work schedule: May be required to operate various

company owned and/or leased tractor-trailer combinations in order to
