Description:
• Develop a marketing vision, strategy and objectives for growing
Digital segment, inclusive of Business Imaging;
• Research, develop and plan new product/service offerings consistent
with the strategy that create customer value;
• Develop and annually update the primary marketing strategy for the
Digital segment while interfacing with the xpedx Print lead team and
Commercial Print team to insure alignment with the overall business
strategy;
• Develop sales strategy for Digital sales team and annually update;
communicate to senior management and field management;
• Coordinate cross functional resources to communicate and execute
implementation tactics;
• Serve as internal source for Digital business related functional
issues (i.e. legal, finance, logistics, procurement, IT);
• Act as primary marketing contact with key Digital suppliers while
coordinating with Procurement to insure effective communications company
wide;
• Coordinate with Digital suppliers to identify new market opportunities
for sales growth;
• Develop effective tools that enable the implementation of the market
strategies at the field sales professional level. Assist in
understanding customer needs and accelerate growth;
• Responsible for segment profitability and P&L.
• Support IP merchant channel business paper sales through xpedx of
approximately 130,000 tons;
• Support xpedx private label programs of approximately 90 million;
• Develop new strategies and targets within the digital segment that may
include cut size, digital papers, in-plants, digital equipment, etc.
• The position requires a knowledge base in both commercial and non
commercial digital format, digital printing equipment, digital paper
substrates and digital synthetic substrates.
• The position requires diverse business skills and strong internal
selling skills as it acts as the Digital General Manager with
interaction across nearly all xpedx departments;
• The position requires strong business acumen and organizational savvy
to accomplish its goals in the “center led” environment without direct
sales responsibility. The position has influence on our complex
organization but requires gaining ownership of others to support the
strategy and tactics.
