Description:
The successful Facility Solutions Sales Representative will be
responsible for the following:
Promote and sell xpedx products and services in established sales
territory. Focus on High traffic facility supply segment and grow into
other xpedx business segments.
Plan sales and gross profit goals. Develop yearly objectives for each
key account. Maintain accurate, detailed and comprehensive knowledge of
the potential of each account in your territory.
Make quality sales calls on customers and prospects. Develop a number
of high potential prospects to guarantee future sales growth. Ideal
candidate would have proven ability to grow new business and hunt for
new opportunities/ customers.
Build customer and vendor relationships and partnerships through joint
planning and sales calls.
Communicate with internal customers. Review accounts and strategize
with inside representation and other support resources; update sales
manager on status of accounts and support needed to accomplish goals.
Negotiate, monitor and update contracts with mills. Communicate
product and price changes, availability conditions and other pertinent
announcements to your customers.
Monitor and ensure quality customer service to customers.
Investigate and resolve all customer complaints promptly. Evaluate
source of problem and participate in the resolution process with all
involved parties.
Assist in the collection efforts of the Division on assigned accounts.
PC proficient in Windows-based programs
3 to 5 years of successful selling experience, preferably in the
distribution area.
College degree or equivalent work experience required.
The ability to deal with a variety of customers, both internal and
external, in a highly professional and diplomatic manner. Must be a
self-starter, highly motivated and be able to work independently with
minimal supervision.
The ability to organize and to make decisions within established
guidelines.
