International Paper Electrician (Non-Progression) in OLIVE BRANCH BOX, Mississippi

The Maintenance Electrician will be required to diagnose, repair, replace and install plant electrical, electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for all plant manufacturing and support equipment. This is a multi-craft position that will be required to perform additional maintenance duties as needed.
Responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our corrugated packaging facility.
tilize both excellent electrical skills and knowledge in electrical/electronics (PLCs, A/C and D/C motors and drives, control logic, schematics and troubleshooting).
Candidate will work as a member of the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing constraints as well as being engaged in the preventative maintenance processes.
At least 2 years of proven electrical/electronics troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility.
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge and practical application experience in electrical/electronics, PLC’s, A/C and D/C motors, drives and controls.
Knowledge of robotics and ability to troubleshoot controls and associated equipment is a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to work with computer systems for maintenance processes.
Must possess own tools.
Willing and able to work all shifts, call-ins, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Comfortable working in high or confined spaces.
Excellent team work and problem solving skills and ability to manage several priorities at once.
On the job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected.
Willingness to learn and grow technically.
Applicant will be required to take an online electrician test to assess skill level.
Successful candidates will be expected to submit to and pass an Operations & Skilled Trades Test, pre-employment health assessment, drug test and background check.
