Team Responsibilities

Operate equipment in a safe, quality, cost effective and orderly manner

Follow all applicable safety procedures, and identify and report any potential safety concerns or hazards so that they may be mitigated

Perform all described quality (process) checks and identify any non-conforming product before it is shipped to our customers

Ensure converted finished product meets required quality specifications as well as customer’s requirements as defined on the Job Card and International Paper Specifications

Maximize productivity of the machine by minimizing downtime and optimizing run speed

Perform clean up tasks as needed to maintain proper housekeeping standards

Keep equipment and product clean, free of grease and contaminants to ensure Product Safety

Comply with all Personal Practice Policy (GMPs) to ensure product is manufactured in a safe environment

Take responsibility for quality and use authority to stop a production run if product is found to be non-conforming

Perform tasks and directions as given by the Supervisor

Individual Responsibilities

Material Handler:

Assist and help any team member in any way possible that enables the production machines to run with minimal downtime

Personally commit to self development and the learning of new skills

Perform pre and post shift equipment inspections

Operate stand-up, sit-down, clamp, and scissor lifts as needed

Assist with top sheet, WIP and finished goods inventories

Load and unload trailers containing top sheets, roll stock, raw materials or finished goods

Make starch for the laminator team

Clean and sweep the starch room and floor

Put away top sheets, and keep the racks organized and clean

Organize and maintain roll stock inventories

Step up to the next position (shipping clerk) as required

Perform tasks assigned by Supervisor

Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

Must have demonstrated safe behavior by working injury-free while working at our plant

Must be willing to work any shift and to work a variable shift schedule

Must be willing to work overtime as needed
