Description:
The Yakima, WA plant has an opening for a Process Improvement Manager
who can meet and exceed the following goals:
- Establish and support plant operating environment with continuous
improvement focus
- Support plant goals and scorecard measures
- Champion Manufacturing Reliability System tools and applications
- Support and contribute to the professional development of facility
leadership for succession planning and cross-functional needs
- Active participation in daily production meetings, weekly lead team
meetings
- Assist department leaders in monitoring work in progress and schedule
conformance.
- Generates input on new equipment purchases for facility, major
modifications of existing equipment
Qualifications
This position requires 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing,
preferably in the corrugated box industry. A bachelors degree is
preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing &
managing teams.
Knowledge of and compliance with local and corporate policies.
