Comply with all safety policies\n\nand procedures.\n\n-Plan sales gross profit activities on a long-term basis. Develop\n\nyearly objectives for each of your key accounts.\n\n-Have an accurate, detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the potential\n\nof each account in your territory. Make sales calls on customers and\n\nprospects at a frequency that will place us in the preferred position.\n\nBuild customer relationships by investing in entertainment, mill visits,\n\nad specialties, etc.\n\n-Develop a sufficient number of high potential prospects to guarantee\n\nfuture sales growth at greater than the market growth rate.\n\n-Keep the appropriate Sales/Department Manager and or Division Manager\n\nwell informed on a monthly basis, on progress being made on: significant\n\nsales and account developments, as well as market, credit and\n\ncompetitive changes. These should be reported whether positive or\n\nnegative.\n\n-Develop and maintain mill relationships through joint planning, sales\n\ncalls and target accounts. We must insure our mills place us in the\n\npreferred position with new product introductions and market segment\n\nsupport.\n\n-Investigate and resolve all customer complaints promptly. Evaluate\n\nsource or problem and participate in resolution with all involved\n\nparties.\n\n-Assist in the collection efforts of the Division on assigned accounts.\n\n-Maintain all price books. Properly communicate announced product and\n\nprice changes, availability conditions, and other pertinent\n\nannouncements to your customers. Deliver products and samples as\n\nnecessary.\n\n-Maintain all system information in a timely, accurate and complete\n\nmanner. This should include but not be limited to: customer master,\n\nexpress order forms, customer unsold stock agreements, pricing, etc.\n\n-Maintain all customer files accurately, including key personnel, sales\n\nhistory and potential sales data.\n\n-Execute all paperwork in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner.\n\n-Foster a positive working environment with fellow employees and\n\ncustomers. Participate, when appropriate on task teams to represent the\n\nsales perspective and promote company development.\n\n-Participate actively in company sponsored training sessions, regularly\n\nscheduled sales meetings and division functions.\n\n-Review new product developments and sales techniques on an ongoing\n\nbasis.\n\n-Develop a complete and comprehensive technical knowledge of all\n\nproducts appropriate to your market or territory.
