We currently have an opening for an experienced Forklift Operator. We manufacture corrugated packaging products for local and national customers.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of forklift experience.
The hiring process for successful candidates will include a pre-employment aptitude test.
