International Paper Assistant Operator in ELIZABETHTON SHEET PLANT, Tennessee

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

  • 3 months corrugated packaging experience preferred.

  • 12 months manufacturing production experience required.

  • Highly adaptable to various duties, Flexibility regarding schedule

MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS REPEATEDLY THROUGHOUT SHIFT:

  • Lift 25 to 50 lbs. continuously

  • Stooping, walking, bending, twisting, standing, sweeping, hand motion, wrist motion, body rotation, counting and reading a tape measure.

  • Comply with quality verifications procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initiate machine set up, which includes but not limited to the following steps

Place required tooling (wood dies, print dies) on machine according to job specifications.

Set pre-feeders on machines. (when applicable)

Produce one sample and verify accuracy per job specifications.

Make machine adjustments when needed.

Process Order.

Maintain good organization and housekeeping in your area.

Cross train in all areas to fill in as needed.

Work in an environment that is often very hot in the summer.
