Duties: Ensure all work is completed in a safe, clean, productive environment; promote excellence in safety and housekeeping by role modeling and promoting safety rules and procedures in all areas of influence. Process flow improvement for the material handling of customer product and materials through production, assembly, and shipping. Provide assembly labor quotes and costing to project management and sales executives; compute and improve upon labor efficiencies. Conduct line balancing, capacity planning, cycle time reduction, and workflow improvement; monitor workflow and assembly line balancing in a job-shop environment; analyze and resolve production bottlenecks to improve material flow. Conduct cost reduction activities to support productivity improvement initiatives. Design efficient, detailed production line layouts in CAD or similar software with emphasis on material flow and space utilization; assist with system capacity planning, design standards, and technical documentation as needed. Review current production specifications and activities to propose assembly improvement ideas. Provide operator training to support production improvements and personnel development. Recommend staffing levels, new assembly equipment, and material handling alternatives to drive efficiency improvements and reduce operational costs. Provide technical design and support related to enterprise-wide customer retail display, kitting, and assembly projects. Interact with and provide training support for new and current employees in the operations area; assist key managers in collecting statistical data for plant process improvement efforts, managing inventory levels, and managing and projecting staffing levels. This role may be accountable for managing and directing full-time employees and temporary staff in a growing, multi-shift manufacturing and assembly environment, including but not limited to hiring, training and performance management (safety and operational tasks), and scheduling.

Requirements: Must have Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 years project management experience in a production/manufacturing environment, including performing lean manufacturing and facilitating Lean Events concentrating on process flow, operator utilization, and inventory control. Must have proficiency with Intellicad, Qcloud, and Nulogy Pack Manager software gained through 3 years experience.

Must be available for shift work and alternative work hours during the week and on weekends as customer requirements and business conditions dictate

Salary: $65,000 - $74,000

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Available for shift work and alternative work hours during the week and on weekends as customer requirements and business conditions dictate.
