Selected candidate will be responsible for coordination and active participation in the overall operation of best practices surrounding global hardware and software procurement, installation, maintenance/support, inventory, contract, and financial management. Will keep abreast of technological developments to ensure best of breed technology inventory practices are followed, industry trends are understood, and solid IT asset management strategies are in place. Will support any new initiatives to further the advancements of a centralized IT service offering. This practice will ease the aggregating of asset information allowing pro-active informed decision-making processes to take place.

Selected candidate will also lead the continuous effort of identification and implementation of ITAM process improvements and would support ITAM Manager in team coordination efforts. Our charter is to provide worldwide support and leadership for Service Management delivery including all application data administration, end user support, requests for new services and strategic direction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze proper hardware & software asset life cycle management practices for various platforms supported within the infrastructure.

  • Proactively provides innovative solutions for improvements and/or changes to everyday operations and leads the implementation to increase efficiency.

  • Ensure products have documented roadmap plans by working with the owners across the various businesses.

  • Interacts directly with vendors, internal support teams, application developers/owners, and end users for the purpose of supporting the environment.

  • Coordinates team efforts related to process changes and business projects.

  • Ensuring software licensing models are understood and in place, that acquisition method and deployment strategy is understood and communicated by the appropriate areas or teams within IT.

  • Facilitates support team’s responsibilities when products change.

  • Acts as a source for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced departmental personnel.

To make the processes seamless and user friendly while capturing all necessary information.


  • This role oversees the lifecycle management of more than 100,000 technology assets worldwide valued at $40MM with ongoing spend of more than $11MM annually.

  • The services managed by this position support all users of IT services (50,000+) from all businesses and locations worldwide.

  • This function enables the way IT pro-actively plans technology lifecycle management from procurement to the multiple business critical integration points to chargeback and recovery services and final technology disposition.

  • Provide expert knowledge to develop and support measurable key metrics for the team.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.

  • 8+ years of professional experience in IT Asset Management is a must.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer concepts, systems management tools in use and the supported environment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of computing resource dependency and impact to business continuity for the installed base managed.

  • Understanding the issues while possessing the ability to break each down analytically and then build it back presenting solid business cases.

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
