We currently have an opening for a Corrugator Supervisor at our Savannah Container plant. This facility manufactures corrugated boxes for local and national customers.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

The Corrugator Supervisor is responsible for the leadership, management, and technical problem solving of one assigned shift of hourly employees to ensure safety, quality, productivity, waste, training, and engagement commitments are met.

Additionally, the Corrugator Supervisor is responsible for executing the corrugator business plan to meet departmental objectives to include but not limited to the following areas: safety training; accident investigation, managing work schedules, coordinating corrugator maintenance activities, one on one counseling, coaching and training employees, developing corrective actions to proactively address problems, wet end and dry end waste reduction, technical problem solving, speed enhancement, starch system management, and roll room management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Requirements:

  • 5 + years as a Corrugator Supervisor

  • Experience on a MHI/Langston wet end and Fosber dry end

  • Candidate must possess a consistent track record for exceeding business results

  • Union experience desired
