The Spotswood, NJ facility is seeking individuals who can understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. We are looking for individuals who can complete assignments in a timely fashion, contribute to operational excellence; are self-driven and enjoy learning new skills; have a positive work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills; are a team player and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Specific responsibilities include mechanical aptitude. Electrical experience in high speed industrial manufacturing environment, preferred. Ability to read & understand electrical blue prints. Basic knowledge of AC & DC drives. Maintain and repair equipment unsupervised. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production line equipment. Repair pumps and motors. Assist in installation of plant equipment. Maintain records. Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial lift. Observe confined space entry procedure. Observe Lock-out/Tag-out procedure as required. Use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Follow policies and procedures in Safety & Environment.
Candidates must have ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
High school diploma/GED preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Drug screen, health assessment, background and reference check
Employer will perform AON Technical Operations test
