Electronics Maintenance Technician

International Paper Company (www.internationalpaper.com) a leader in the industrial packaging industry is accepting applications for one full-time Mechanical Electrical positions in its Three Rivers, MI facility. We are looking for a motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Specific responsibilities include preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, minimize equipment down time and perform small project activities.

Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree (or G.E.D.) and a minimum of three to five years experience in an industrial environment. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting skills; both electrical and mechanical. Good knowledge of the National Electrical code, proficiency and experience with high voltage equipment is a must. Candidates must have extensive knowledge and experience with, but not limited to: ammeters, multimeter, field programming equipment, oscilloscopes, ladder and PLC schematics. Highly qualified candidates will have a thorough knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, relay logic troubleshooting, motor controls, and drive systems. Good knowledge of industrial equipment along with the repair of equipment with minimal documentation and the ability to read electrical/mechanical prints.

Compensation includes an entry level hourly wage of $24.40/hr with the potential of increases up to $30.07/hr after completion of the International Paper Maintenance Skill Development Program.
